Since February I have been very busy making appearances at a variety of fundraisers or special events. I am really enjoying my title and the public appearances I am able to attend as Miss Teen Southern Alberta.

I have attended a few fundraisers such as: The Moonlight Run and a Zumba Fundraiser for the Lethbridge Seniors Organization. I held a 50/50 draw at my dance studios recital which was a huge success. I made a few small appearances at my workplace -Sobeys- where I was able to wear my sash on my uniform. I wore my sash and crown at my Grade 12 graduation and made a very special visit to the Children’s Hospital and donated teddy bears to the cancer ward.

Canada Day was a blast as I volunteered at the Missing Kids booth at the Lethbridge Henderson Lake celebration on July 1. I was blessed to visit with young kids who were excited to “meet a princess” Myself and Darby (Miss Teen Lethbridge) handed out tattoos and visited and took pictures with the kids and let the little girls try on our crowns. It was a very special day and was great getting to know Darby as well.

I have had a fantastic 6 months with my title and am looking forward to the pageant in a weeks time. I can’t wait to make fabulous memories and new experiences.
