I have had such an amazing journey and I could help but thank Lisa Harrigan and Michelle along with everyone else who has made this experience so much better than I could have imagined. Even if I don’t win I am going to be able to have unforgettable memories with everyone here.

Friday was full of so many exciting things! I was so impressed with everything each and every girl brought to the stage tonight!

We started the day pretty early with the usual breakfast at the Local Cafe and Restaurant downstairs from our rooms. Then we hit the bus to make our way to the preliminary venue.

Once we arrived at the venue we all worked our butts off during rehearsals! Shawn choreographed our swimsuit number and we rocked the stage the entire time 😉

As our families and friends began to arrive to watch the competition you could really feel the nerves start to settle in. As everyone put on their evening gowns for the first part of the show I was beyond amazed with how elegant and graceful everyone looked! As we shifted from evening gown to swim suit, we were able to see how elegant princesses could turn into confident and trendy runway models. Everyone definitely had their own style they brought with them to the stage tonight.

As our first day of competitions came to an end, all I can think of is how lucky I have been to take part in such an amazing event with the most intelligent, smart, bubbly young women I have ever met. I wish everyone the best of luck as we find out the top 20 on Sunday.

Till Next Time – Shay 🙂

Well last night was show night. I can’t believe it’s all over. It was a day of rehearsals, hair and makeup and calming nerves.

The runway competition was amazing again. Everyone looked amazing in their gowns and it was nice to finally walk the stage. Swimsuit competition went well also.

I had fun and in the end that’s what matters.

I was honoured to perform my hip hop solo with it being my last year of dance at Urban Beat. I only danced for 3 years so I’m blessed I learned as much as I did in such s short time. Hip hop is my first love since I can be myself and show my sass and personality.

Then we had some fun on the way home in the bus and let loose to some Miley Cyrus. Oh and some fun in the lobby lol… I always stay true to myself and act goofy when I want to. I’m thankful for the girls that joined me. I love you ladies.

Snoopy 😍😍😍😍😍

Made some great memories today and had a great photo shoot.

Looking forward to rehearsals and the show tonight!!!! Can’t believe the time has come.

If you were to ask me what day has been my favorite so far, you better believe it was day 3 at wonderland!

We started the day off with an amazing breakfast downstairs in the Centennial residence. Then we hit the road towards Canada’s Wonderland! It was so much fun. My friends and I went on many rides and really made the most out of our day here. I have never been to wonderland till today so all this stuff was very new and exciting for me. There was something amazing around every corner.

It was a very long day with a lot of walking. We were all petty tired by the end of it all so we found a spot to sit near the waterfalls. Darren met us there and took some amazing pictures! I think it is safe to say we were all so happy with his work.

That’s all for this post, I will leave the pictures to do the talking for this one;) Enjoy!

Till Next Time – Shay 🙂

Day two was absolutely crazy! Yet I loved every minute of it. First we started the day off with hair and makeup. Jen and Melissa did such an amazing job on my look for the day, and afterwards Darren took some great photos of us girls! I was beyond impressed with all the hard work these people did today!

Next came the video shoot. We had to stand in front of the green screen and explain why you think that you would be a great Miss Teenage Canada. It was a little nerve wracking at first but I got it done! After the video shoot I made my way to the photo shoot portion. I had so much fun in front of the camera. After lunch came the interview. This, along with the photo shoot are scored portions of the pageant. We had a two minute interview with a panel of judges that asked some great questions. The interview seems to be very nerve wracking but it was more less a conversation, I think it went really well.

At the end of the day we had rehersals with Chris. He is so flamboyant that it puts us all in a great mood. He covered all the basic pageant tips and tricks. We are so luck to have him show us the ropes.

After this very long day we all worked up a huge appetite. Marc had an amazing supper ready for that night. Pasta with alfredo and chicken or pesto with homemade meat balls! I am so glad we have Marc making these home cooked delicious meals for us!

Till Next Time – Shay 🙂

Miss Teenage Canada day 2 was tons of fun. We did a interview which was first for me then a video shoot then a photo shoot. Dinner was so good. After my roommates and me hung out in our living area. We also got our opening number outfit. It is really cute. The make up and hair artists were so good they made me look way better than I do.

Today was definitely my favourite day so far! I had so much fun hanging out with all my new pals today on the bus to Wonderland, and on all the rides! I can’t believe we’re already half way through the week it’s crazy! I feel like we just got here but I also feel almost as if I’ve known my roommates for years now!

Today was my first time ever going to Wonderland, when we first arrived and got passed the gates it felt like we were in another world. Wonderland is so beautiful, and so so so much fun! I would do it again in a heartbeat! Especially with my pageant sisters! Wow today was amazing and a memories I will remember forever! 💗💗

This is us this morning on our way to Canada’s Wonderland! “Here we come Wonderland!”
We had to stop to take a picture in front of the castle because, every queen needs a castle!
One of my favourite rides, the swings with my girl Emma!
Things did get messy too… but I couldn’t help it, definitely the best beavertail I’ve ever had!
Don’t Farrah and I look so cute with our twinning braids! lol!
Of course beauty queens also have to eat! Such a yummy lunch and an iconic restaurant!
Back on the bus again heading back to our rooms after an eventful, thrilling afternoon at Canada’s Wonderland! An experience I will never forget!
